Unfortunately any neurological disorder can disqualify you from the military. You could just not mention it if it's not noticeable, but you could still get discharged later on. If you do mention it and it is mild, then what you do is present your medical information to the recruiter and MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) can get a waiver for it, but with cerebral palsy that may be unlikely. To be with the Marines you have to have a pretty flawless medical record, and that's almost the same with the Army. It doesn't hurt to ask a recruiter though, good luck!

I recently have been extremely light headed and dizzy. I have even ended up on the floor a few times. I have seen a cardiologist, neurologist, had a brain MRI, and labs drawn. If under a certain dollar amount is earned they do not have to take out taxes. My oldest son's on college campus job does not take out taxes, unless he makes over $300 in a pay period. So last year he only had like $37 total taken out. It is supposed to work to his advantage to actually have more to live on, but makes for a sad refund. I tried to refinance my mortgage but on the day of the closing, nothing was as promised. The bank added 1/2 point to the loan when it was supposed to be a no-point refinance, the home appraisal was missing, even though the bank said they'd have it there. We waited 2 hours at the attorney's to get revised paperwork from the bank only to end up with a "credit" for the 1/2 point, with the 1/2 point still showing everywhere on the paperwork. The attorney, who represents both me and the bank, said that if I changed my mind and decided not to go through with the refinance, the bank was obligated to refund me the home appraisal fee. The bank, however, says they're not going to. I'm in the state of New York. I'd like to second everything that Babywait said, since it was put so much better than I could have put it! We didn't stay at the White Swan, but were familiar with the dolls. I am certainly not heartbroken that my girls don't have one, but I also don't fault anyone for appreciating them. Barbies may not be proportionately accurate, but I played with them when I was little, and my daughters love them now. I bought my older daughter the "Panda Rescue Barbie" while in China and she loves it! It's nice for our Chinese children to have dolls available that share some of their features. A week later her father died from poison too. My grandparents had a huge garden full of crops that they would sell for money. Supposedly this witch was poor and envied them. My grandparents shared their crops with her. They didn't know she was a witch. She was very nice to them giving them cigars she made, in return for the food they gave her. Well guess what, the cigars were poisoned! She poisoned the cigars and killed them. The same witch also possessed a dog to attack specifically my mother's older brother. That dog was definitely possessed. That's the scariest story I've ever heard. Eventually they shot it dead and sadly her brother didn't make it. I don't know what happened to her but I think they told me she was arrested and killed. Okay I need some inspiration for a poem?

It's an eglish ignment so I have to write a poem. I like writting so it shouldn't be that bad but poetry isn't really my thing, I like writting short stories better. I was thinking of doing a haiku beccause I really like them: the simplicity and the flow but my teacher says she doesn't want some 4 line poem and haikus are less so that killed my first idea. The other day I noticed my tooth hurting I thought maybe I just bit too hard and than later on I noticed my back or third molar has sunk into my gums on my left side of my mouth. Our daughter is 3, and we are trying for baby #2 now. I will say that when she was little, I swore I wouldn't want another til our daughter was 5, but that has definitely changed! I second the waiting til the first one is potty trained. It seems like it would make things much easier. Although I had a friend who got pregnant with her second child when her first was only 12 mos and she said it wasn't much more difficult, she was already changing diapers, now it was just double the diapers. I'm the youngest in my family and I have a brother who is about to graduate from college in May, and a sister who is a sopre in college. Since I'm the youngest, I always get accused of being spoiled and always getting what I want, even if I don't even ASK for it, my parents just give it to me, which is really annoying. Anyways, my brother and sister are within a few years of age to each other and they always chat with each other and go out to the town together, completely disregarding me. They could take me with them if they wanted to, and when I ask them if I can come, they just yell at me. Now, my parents are kind of old and we don't really do anything fun anymore like they used to. All I do is just hang out with friends. How to deal with my issue?

As a child I was very anti-social because of a crazy mother. What can I do to help my horse's hoof heal?

My 2 yr old gelding stepped on a small nail which stuck in the bottom of his hoof. I pulled it out, called the vet, and administered penicillin and a tet shot. A week later, it was still infected, so we did another 4 rounds of penicillin, as prescribed by our vet. Two weeks after that, my horse is still limping. I usually clean the hoof in a bucket of water, pad the sole with a clean cloth, and wrap the entire hoof in duct tape. There is little heat in the hoof, and no drainage, so it isn't overly infected. There is a small hole in the bottom of the sole of the hoof, in front of the frog, much like if you had a hole in your fingernail--you can see through it to inside the hoof, which is just dark but open. Has anyone else had an experience like this, and is it something my colt will get over, or is he lame forever? Would really appreciate an answer. Our vet is one of those "cattle" vets who doesn't specialize in horses. Thank you for any help you can provide. Kerrie

My mom has been going through A-LOT of stress with my older sister and brother. Every morning [besides weekends] my mom has to drive my niece to school, then my sister to work. My sisters divorced, so she can not support herself financially. My niece is only in Pre-k, and theres no buses for this specific one, and my sisters 28 and doesn't have a license to drive,nor a car. She has to drive AND pick up my brother & his friends from work every other day, while no other mothers can. My mom says for everything she does for my sister & brother, not one "thank you" or " i appreciate it" which IS true. With me, It's always cleaning my room. She says once before you leave your room, turn around to make sure its' clean. I forgot to today, so now she's in there shouting,and crying. My dad works Saturday mornings,sunday nights,monday nights,friday nights [sometimes] and around again. She also has to pick up my niece from work, and cannot stand it. My sisters life is the phone,the computer, and anything else but FAMILY. I hate to see my mom hurt like this. I wish that she would be happy-WE would be happy.But she says the only thing that makes her happy is when everyones' sleeping. Are Children More Forgiving Than Grown-Ups?

My question has to do with children vs adult and childrens capabilities to be more forgiving than we grown ups? My verdict on this subject is "yes" they are way more forgiving than we are. We are always preaching to them how they should learn a thing or two from us, well we have that in reverse, and should be learning from them, and let some of their ways rub off on us. I think the trouble with adults is that as we age we seem to forget how forgive and forget. It's amazing that we we were once young and nothing bothered us and we are totally different now. We feel the need to complicate even the simplest matters until they snowball. I can remember being in 3rd grade and having an argument with a dear friend and by the time the school bell rang we were friends again as if nothing happened. My question is why are children more forgiving than we are. I think it's because we are exposed to very little as kids and that is what does us good, the more we knew the worse off we became.

Well right now Chance is on Beet Pulp and sweet feed andd has been for a few months. I am moving her to another barn and plan on changing her feed. There's this girl that really likes me, and she wants to go out with me and all, but she kind of wants me to change my eye color. She thinks I would look really hot with colored contacts with a shade of maybe light brown or hazel. Again, I'm not white. I have tan skin which is on the lighter side, but I'm not Caucasian. It's out of the norm for Paki guys to have light color eyes. In fact, I have really dark eyes. Now, I kind of like don't know what to do cause I'm an above average looking guy. So, back to my issue, I have really dark brown eyes, and it's the norm for Pakistani people, but I think if I change it, people might think I'm gay which I'm not. This girl's really amazing, and I kind of wanna take this as far as it can go (if you know what I'm talking 'bout), but on the other hand, I don't want to feel less confident about myself by speculating that people may think I'm gay. LOL I had to answer this one cause it made me laugh!!! I'm 8 weeks pregnant and I'm constantly BURNING UP!!! I just can't get cool enough! Isn't it amazing how different everyone is :) And as a mother of 2 I can answer the eating one. Is my hamster wierd?

We got this hamster a few weeks ago. It is very young so I understand some of these wierd things may have to do with immaturity ...... He made his nest in a vertical tube. He sits there all day. If he ever leaves to get a drink, he runs immedieatly back to it if I come watch. Also, I have read that hamsters always go potty in the same place, well this one does not. I swear he pees in his nest! Today I changed the cage and his fur was all wet looking and he STUNK! I thought hamsters were very clean animals, but this ones has issues I think. Also, he eats his own feces and collects it with the other food he stashes. Besides being very nervous when my kids or I approach it, the peeing thing and the tube thing are very strange to me. I provided one of those hamster homes inside the cage, he preferred the vertical tube. I even put a horizontal tube on the bottom of the cage so he would maybe feel safe there. He still went vertical. Let me know if my hammy has a screw loose!

Heart palpatations, after drinking...?

Last year I was diagnosed with WPW syndrome, I had an ablation and ever since My ecg have come back normal. My last ecg was in august. I have noticed recently that the next day after drinking alcohol I get palpatations, usually while i am at rest. Is therapy the answer for my friend who, at 16, spent 2 years living with and having with a 29 yr old man?

My friend described to me a very disturbing episode in her life when she was 16. After dropping out of high school and then being sent away to a group home, she befriended and started having with a 29 yr old attorney (of all people!). She showed me pics of herself at this age and I can see why ANY man would want to be with her. Physically, she was all woman. So at 16, and without her parents permission, she lmoved in with this guy for FOR THE BETTER PART OF 2 YEARS!!! she says he gave her a room of her own. He also "employed" her as a 16 yr old paralegal at his family's law firm. I guess he wanted to help her out. Hmmm. Needless to say, she seemed to really like this guy, and she went on to tell me that she had a 2 year secret ual relationship with him. She was making good money, so she never said anything. She admitted she didn't know at the time the attorney was breaking the law by having with a minor. She just knew that she had a home, an older man with money, and was getting laid. Now she's 23, about to graduate from beauty college and is ready to take on the world. I'm worried now, because ever since moving out of this guy's house and the six years since, my friend has engaged in prostitution, stripping, and she smokes a lot of marijuana all by herself. She says its her way of self-medicating. Of particular concern is her current views towards how women should treat men and how men should treat women. I think there's a direct connection to the attorney she lived with. She tells me she has developed a repulsion to kissing men on the mouth and showing any type of affection. She admits that she gets sick to the stomach when her current boyfriend tries to kiss her. She's been with this guy for two years and has never made out with him. Never once. He's pissed all the time and she's still not budging. She actually feels that is unnecessary and she would rather get right to the . No touching, no eye contact, no hugging, no nothing...just . She also gets mad at her boyfriend when they have and he doesn't pay her cash. She's complained recently that "he's starting to slack off." Granted, they met at a strip club, but after 2 years you would think that she would be motivated by other things besides the money he provides to her. GET THIS....he's an older guy, too. He's 42. This girl is soooo amazing. I'm jealous of her actually. She's drop dead gorgeous, she's a manager at a restaurant, she got her GED, and she's close to graduating from beauty college. Anyway, the question is should my friend go see a therapist? I say yes, but you guys might think differently. Heck, I think she should write a book. Did the guy have her locked up? No. Did the guy force her to be his sex slave? She says no, but she was 16, so who knows? I do know one thing though....my friend shares with me some very disturbing things about her past and common sense is telling me that what happened to her from 16-18 years old, the most sensitive and impressionable years in a young woman's life, is messing up her current relationship with a very nice man and seems to have distorted her views of what most young girls are taught about men and relationships. She is hell-bent against therapy, but I told her she should, at a minimum, share her amazing and unique story with a professional. I even told her she could probably reach back and put this guy in jail for endangering a minor and whatever else you could charge him with. I have honestly never met someone with such a hard luck and abusive past who has come out of it virtually unhed. Inside she must be so twisted. What should I tell her?

Help! I need a travel companion! Thailand 24th June - 5th July?

I am a student and most of my friends either aren't interested in travel, can't afford to go overseas or have studies in the way. I booked a week in Thailand spontaneously as it's the last holidays I have from uni until Feb '09, and don't have anyone to go with! Im 20 years old, get tired of people so easily which makes it difficult to have friendships, not to mention Its really hard to trust people. I feel really hyper a lot of the times like im a caged animal. I think way to much and it sometimes gets the best of me, lately I havent been able to ociate with people because they scare me for some odd reason. Sometimes I feel like life is a "dream" and if its not worth living. I love learning though, its a really beautiful thing. I love art, nature, riding my bike for miles in the summer, It helps me cope with life I guess. I hate my job because people are really judgmental on my appearance. When I showed my inner emotions I was sort of "scolded" and now I dont want to open up to anybody for fear that I'll be ridiculed. I would love to live far far away from the city with just me and my music and someone to share that with. But im scared, scared of life and its unknowing consequences. I live in fear and regrets which tear me apart everyday. If you gave me one look I'm sure you would never think this about me, but as we all know looks are deceiving. I cant find anyone in this god forsaken state that likes the music I like or can appreciate the little things in life like I do. Everything moves so fast and its overwhelming. The other day I thought to myself... If the pills were right in front of me I would get my accounts in order and commit suicide, just because I feel very unwanted and useless. The funny thing is I wouldn't want to shoot myself, or cut myself, I'd want a death less dramatic. I would say my past haunts me and I'm not sure I could ever let it go. I know there are going to be people who say some very nasty things for comments, but I ask you to ask yourself what would you do if you were in my position, could you even see yourself in my position. To feel like a caged animal, deprived of so many childhood and adulthood dreams because of what the government says you are. Could you even imagine the injustice that is happening not only to me but to people all around the world. My issues are definitely not on any level to compare to those of tortured, slaved, or prostituted/trafficked humans but can you help me in my quest to find out what is wrong with me? Thank You...

I am with you, the camera's are a bad idea. In a perfect traffic situation as described in the other posts, they are correct. Add rain, ice, vehicle types, road rage, etc and the equation get's complicated. They were installed to generate revenue and billed as a safety device. Sure, there are stats that prove it is cutting down on the runners, but the accidents are up as you said. That is not in the reports issued to the public. Short story is that the camera's are here to stay, they make money. Until someone get's seriously injured and sues, there will be nothing done. Sad it has come to that, but just a fact. I have read that there are devices that will defeat the camera's, but not sure that they work. Several sprays, but they only work when flashes are involved. Do a search, I am sure you will find a host of products.

Is there anything I can do to help my dog's itching before I take her to the vet?

She has been scratching a lot for the past week. Her diet is hypoallergenic, but it could be an allergy to something other than food, like gr pollen or some detergent. We've tried her on grain-free food for a few days to no avail.Her belly is very red from scratching. We've tried washing her and used Frontline. We cannot afford to take her to the vet right now, but we want to know if theres anything we can try in the mean time or if anyone has any suggestions as to what could be causing it.

Sorry but no. I would not trust anyone with my dog unless you were licensed and had references. Way too many people in this world mistreat animals. Seeking advice on relationship?

Ok so I have a dilemma. And I know to some people this may seem like a stupid question, but humor me on this one please. For the last few months my girlfriend and I have been planning to get an apartment together. Just a few weeks ago we decided to let her friend and her friends boyfriend stay with us. A week ago I found out my girlfriend is pregnant. Now her friend has been pretty involved with all of the apartment stuff and has helped my girlfriend alot with getting medicaid and WIC and other parenting stuff. I have 2000 dollars and if I get a two bedroom apartment like we have planned. I won't be able to cover my phone bill or insurance this month and will have to pay them both late on the first. Because move in costs of a two bed room are around 2000. My dad thinks its a mistake to move in with roommates because of the baby and says we need to live in a place with just my girlfriend and I so we can bond and develope a stronger relationship and see if we can live together peacefully. And so he's willing to get me an apartment if I get decide to get a 1 bedroom for just her and I. Which would allow me to pay my bills and have about $1500.00 in excess cash. So my question is. Should I get a two bedroom and go broke and late on bills, or be an *** and tell her friend that plans have changed and she can't live with us.? And be able to pay my bills.

My dog has just had a litter of puppies and I need some help!!?

I have a pet mastiff and she is only 12 months old she has just had a litter of puppies... I know she is far far too young but it was total on accident!! I left her in the care of what used to be a good friend for a few hours and he was very careless we have had a mive fall out over it and no longer talk!! Any way to get to the point Im a bit concerned she hasnt been a very attentive mother from day one she had a litter of 8 big chunky healthy pups the 1st three died I think it was because she neglected them (they was the 1st 3 born) it was early hours in the morn when she had given birth( aprox 4am) I woke up around 7 am and she was still in labour having more pups to my horror I saw the dead pups and also a pup still in the bag that was half licked of and she wasnt bothering with any of them I dont know how I managed it but the pup that was still in the bag i opened my self and brought the pup back around to life and helped her give birth to the other 4 she then started to show a bit of interest to the pups but she dosent seem very bonded with them she WILL feed them but only when it suits her she has never picked them up in her mouth she just dosent seem botherd shed rather sit outside and sunbathe than feed her pups for the last 3 weeks I have had to really clamp down and force her to look after them (in a nice way) it has been extremely hard work!! I just want to know why my dog is acting like this? Is she depressed? Has she neglected them? But if so why is she feeding them? Is it her age? also when is it suitable to start weaning the pups on to proper food and water? I cant expect to get the signals from the mother because I dont think she,s doing her job as a mother properly to begin with!! Can someone please help me?

And they aren't forced to imilate into mainstream American society. Illegal immigrants are replacing American culture with Latin American culture. The reason countries have immigration policies is to make their countries better. It isn't to let millions upon millions of people all from the third world illegally come to your country, & to let them make it like the societies that they're fleeing from. The backs of my Legs are aching. Need help please?

I have been having this problem for more than a year. The backs of both of my legs have been aching and hurting. It goes on for a couple days and then it will go away for a while, then it comes back. When I sit on the floor and stretch it hurts even more. It almost feels like it is burning or pinching. It is both legs, down the whole leg. I can feel my hamstrings and all the muscles down the back of my legs pulling. I have been to my general dr and she told me to stretch and didn't act like it was anything. It started when I was pregnant so she thought it had something to do with my sciatic nerve or something. But now my son is a year old and it hasn't gotten better. I have also been to a back dr because someone said it might be related to my back. They did x-rays of my back and legs and examined me and found nothing. So I am not sure what to do. I have tried hot baths, tylenol, stretching, different shoes, etc. My husband thinks it's stress. But I don't see how that can be. Please help if you have heard of this. Thanks!
