Will my things mildew in storage shed?

I have totes that I have my yarn in, my yarn is very important to me as I got it when my grandmother ped. The unit I am putting my things in is not temperature controlled and I am wondering if yarn/fabrics will be safe in the shed with the changing temperatures?
