I'm a Taurus he's an Aquarius, help!?

Ok, here's the deal..I met this guy on a European trip, I live in one state, he lives, 1,000 miles away. I didn't really notice him until a few days into the drip and we clicked. I couldn't stop thinking about him and went to see him for a few days. Once coming back I realized how much we are with our signs: I'm a Taurus, I love attention and affection, I love people who are down to earth and I sometimes look for guys who are providers. I do like being pampered and loved. He's an Aquarius, he doesn't really show emotion except when it comes to physical. He has a tendency to dissapear and not get back to me when I call/email me and it frustrates me, but then he does something to make me smile. He's a humanitarian and loves meeting new people, but I can see that he's really into me. I'm going to see him in a few weeks and I'd like to take things further but don't want to scare him off. How do I convince this boy to be with me without looking crazy? lol
