Do you like this name for a girl?

Okay, so i would like to name my future daughter Noel. I want a name that is pretty, but special and not too unique and crazy. I think Noel is great but when i did my research, it said the name is usually given to boys. The girl equivalent is Noelle and i don't like that form. So my question is should i still stick with Noel even if it is in france technically a boys name. Do you like it for a girl? Thank you :)
