How many hours does it take for the booze to get out of your system?

am off driving sat morning at 9am,but my friend is getting married friday,i want to have a few drinks but am afraid il be over the limit sat morn.i can not get out of driving sat.but someone told me that if you have five pints it takes twice as many hours to leave your system(i.e.-10hrs).
