Will Conservatives ever get the point? Guns are a Privilege, Health Care is a God Given Right?

You are confused. First, both guns and health care are commodities, items to buy. Second, you have the same "right" to buy these items as do I. Herein lies the only "right" you have when it comes to either of these, i.e., the right to purchase. However, if you do not have the ability to purchase these items, you do not have a right to them. Like anything else that belongs to someone else, if you want an item or a service, you must pay for it. Unfortunately there are those who will spend large amounts of money on flat screen TV's or get that car upgrade instead of buying a most important item like health care. The only difference here is that most people believe "health care" under the auspices of the government is going to be free, and therefore call it a "God Given Right" in hope that UHC will come to p.
