Chlamydia question!!!!!!!!?

Me and my partner were tested for chlamydia and it came back positive. We both got treated and abstained from unpotected for about week and a half! Then after this time we started to have unprotected again and two months later i got retested for infection and result was negative. so we are fine? even if my partner doesn't retest???
