My mother never let us out after dark; she said there was no reason for a child to be out at that point. Go with your gut because it's speaking to you in volumes. You are the parent - pull rank for God's sake. By the way, it's not a bright idea for you to allow your child (who is a minor) to date an adult - no matter how well behaved the man might be.
