Seeking advice on relationship?

Ok so I have a dilemma. And I know to some people this may seem like a stupid question, but humor me on this one please. For the last few months my girlfriend and I have been planning to get an apartment together. Just a few weeks ago we decided to let her friend and her friends boyfriend stay with us. A week ago I found out my girlfriend is pregnant. Now her friend has been pretty involved with all of the apartment stuff and has helped my girlfriend alot with getting medicaid and WIC and other parenting stuff. I have 2000 dollars and if I get a two bedroom apartment like we have planned. I won't be able to cover my phone bill or insurance this month and will have to pay them both late on the first. Because move in costs of a two bed room are around 2000. My dad thinks its a mistake to move in with roommates because of the baby and says we need to live in a place with just my girlfriend and I so we can bond and develope a stronger relationship and see if we can live together peacefully. And so he's willing to get me an apartment if I get decide to get a 1 bedroom for just her and I. Which would allow me to pay my bills and have about $1500.00 in excess cash. So my question is. Should I get a two bedroom and go broke and late on bills, or be an *** and tell her friend that plans have changed and she can't live with us.? And be able to pay my bills.
